Storms ...

I like storms ...
Why?
I don't know ... always have.
There's just something about them I suppose. Science has figured out space travel and got men on the moon, but it still hasn't figured out how to control the thunder, the lightning, and the Gods bowling down the great wooden aisles in the sky .....

Here's a few sites I've been looking at recently (to try to distract your attention away from the fact that there isn't anything here yet ...)

[Torro] Tornado and Storm Research Organisation

As well as the obvious, this site also looks at: ball lightening; snow storms; hailstorms .... basically all fun weather ...

Online meteorlogy guide
... A page from the University of Illinois ...
It's a bit slow and educational, but it does cover a lot of different weather features and has lots of piccies

[BBC
       Report] North Ferriby tornado report
On 25th May 1999, a tornado hit the outskirts of Hull - where I was living at the time. This was only a few weeks after a funnel cloud was seen over the River Humber. This page gives the details as reported in the local TV news.(OK, so this report is interesting to me!!)
